Gov House

Government House Open Day

Each year in January, the Governor of Tasmania throws open his stately home to allow Tasmanians (and visitors) to inspect his house and party in the magestic parklands that comprise his garden.  In 2006, this event was held on February 26,

The Rotary Club of Howrah has provided Devonshire Teas, Sausages, Hamburgers, Ice Creams and Cordials to the visitors who have numbered up to 10, 000.

It’s a great fundraiser and a popular day out for our members
